Visit to Kurt Schwitters Merz Barn
went to the Merz Barn last weekend, was brilliant. It was Schwitters last working place before he died in 1947. Although there are now none of his works in the barn it is still a place of beauty which resonates with his presence and inspires me greatly. The Lake District is such a wonderful place which I have visited many times when I was a child, to be back again was like coming home.
