Last day of Open Studios

Here are some photos from yesterday; some sneak previews of unfinished BAO project work out on display in the studio too.... had some good responses yesterday; someone wants to interview me for their thesis on artists and archives, some others were just very interested in my work so thats always nice! Hope today isn't as hot because we were roasting in our studio yesterday!

Studio ready and Open

So I'm ready, the studio is tidy and clean! Last nights opening evening was really busy and I met some really interesting people, so I hope today and tomorrow are the same. Midday to 6pm if you want to try to make it down to say hi.

Open Studios 2011

Hi all, sorry its been so long! Things have been crazy; if you read any of my other blogs you will have been able to piece together why I have been away from this blog for so long! Firstly I was made redundant from my day job, then I had my sisters wedding to prepare for (had to make so many things),
handmade teacosies

handmade ribbon

handmade confetti
and then I was on holiday
tea and cake in the holiday cottage

holiday cottage in the middle of nowhere; lovely!
and now its now and I am preparing for the annual Hackney Wicked festival where I will be opening my studio doors
tea area in studio

and welcoming people in to see what I have been up to recently, where I work and possibly me in action.

So, you can download map from the website, or they will be handed out at the overground tube station on all days.
When: Fri 29th July (this Friday) from 6pm onwards, Sat 30th July from midday to 6pm and the same on Sunday 31st.
Where: Studio 9.5, Floor D, Level 3, Mother Studios, Queens Yard, White Post Lane, Hackney Wick, East London (very close to Hackney Wick overground station).

Would be wonderful to see you there!
